You can stand on roof tops and declare whatever you like, you can hold seminars on loads of pseudo idealogies but when it comes to the crunch only God can do the drawing and only God knows His own and he also knows who belong to the enemy. Who do you belong to. God and Yeshua or Satan and his minions. To have no faith at all is a lonely and empty place. Better have faith in one or the other than none at all.
Even Satan and his minions know God because before the were kicked out of Heaven they were with him. But their own arrogance and jealousy and pride brought them into conflict with the Creator God. The rest we know is history. HOW many of you realise that there is only One God, One Son, One Holy Spirit. There is not a myriad of gods to worship only One. God himself tells us that the Lucifer himself is a fallen angel and is destined to the great abyss along with his minions and all those that choose to follow his ways, that is to stand in defiance of the Great God of Abraham, Issac and Jacob. To stand and shake your fist at God and to say that He does not exsist is like saying the planet we live on does not exsist – for with out God – We would not exsist. He created us out of the dust of this very planet and breathed life into his nostrils, God led his first created man to a place of beauty and all he had to do was to trust God and let him take care of him. God took so much care of him that he gave him a mate, a female from his very own side and presented her to him for his companionship. He gave them the command to go forth and multiply and subdue and take care of the planet God had created for their home.
We have a lot to thank God for – without His word we would not be here, we would not be surrounded by such beauty, we would not even know of life. Nor the pleasure of being at one with anybody. To share you dreams and hopes with another. This God has done for us. What have we done for God.
We have turned our back on him, we have denied him, we have rediculed the very notion that He exsisted – we who are just carbon and water – just like a pot on a potters wheel.
He fashioned us to be human – he gave us everything for His pleasure and ours so that we may someday come back to the Father in full repentance and ask His forgiveness and Turn from our evil ways and once again recognise that He the Creator God is worthy to be recognised.
Do you want to wait until the next disaster before you will finally recognise He is in control, of all the volcanos, earthquakes, sea levels, winds. He can make it snow in the summer and rain in the winter and create huge fire balls on the land. Who are we. Will we never learn – just think that when the volcano erupted in greenland/iceland, it shut down all the airports, caused so much misery – what could man do against that except wait it out. Well God is behind everything to wake the people up to start to look up for your redemption is certainly drawing nigh. We are in a season of great perplexcity, great anxiety has gripped the hearts and minds of man. This was always had been spoken about in the Word of God. The books of the Prophets whom God had chosen to send to the nation of Israel to bring them back to the Father was very much aware of our times. Warning us of things to come if we insist on disobeying and running againt God.
Do you think you can change yourself – God changes you from within., He leads you back to Himself and His ways, His teachings, His prophecy. Yeshua the King of Israel and all the World will come in Victory and No one will stand in His way.
IT IS TIME TO STAND UP STAND UP FOR YESHUA FOR THE GLORY OF THE CROSS, LIFT HIGH HIS ROYAL BANNER HIS BATTLE IS NOT LOST.
He said it on the cross – it is finished – he defeated the grave, death and hades. WE who are standing and waiting for His return understand that WE shall be changed into His likeness of the resurrection. Where will you be.

David’s Comment: Against ALL Odds

Over the last few weeks both Josie and I have written about the existential dangers that the tiny nation of Israel currently faces. In the natural it looks very bad for Israel’s future – hopeless in fact. Hizbollah has 50,000 plus missiles ready to use against Israel and Iran openly declares the annihilation of the Jewish state. The Western world, even the United States, has deserted Israel, the only democratic country in the Middle East. Just this week it was reported that President Obama sent a message, through 2nd parties, to the Iranians, clearly stating that the US will not assist Israel if there is an attack on Iran’s nuclear facilties. The US Joint Chief of Staff said in a speech that he gave in London last Friday ” that in the event of an attack on Iran, Israel is on her own.” The world is showing its true anti-Semitic colours. The majority of the leaders who are pulling away from Israel would deny that, but if it looks like a duck, walks like a duck, and quacks like a duck, its a duck !!!
There is nothing new under the sun – once again Israel is facing an extremely serious threat to her existence. It’s nothing new, it has been this way since the Hebrews were slaves in Egypt. The Jewish people have faced a long line of potential destroyers – the Pharaoh, Haman, Antiochus Epiphanes, King Herod, Napolean, Hitler, Arafat, & the PLO, Black September, Islamic Jihad, the PFLP, Hamas, Hizbollah and now Ahmedinejhad. As individual organisations they may be much smaller and less powerful that the State of Israel, but together they pose a formidable enemy whose combined and clearly stated goal is the total destruction or anhililation of Israel and the Jewish people.
As I said at the outset, in the natural Israel’s futute looks to be in serious jeopardy, However, whether she knows it or not (and sadly most Israelis dont know it) Israel has an unseen ace up her sleeve – The Holy One of Israel. The God of Israel created and holds the entire Universe in His hands. And the Universe is unfathomably gi-normous. It is impossible for the human brain to even begin to comprehend the power of the Universe. If the God of Israel created and controls this power, it makes sense that He is MORE POWERFUL than His creation. And He loves Israel, and many times in His Word makes covenant based promises to protect His Land and His people.
Now back to the title AGAINST ALL ODDS …….. Israel’s 3800 year history is akin to the story of David & Goliath. There had always been a ‘Goliath’ out there mocking, cursing and threating to destroy God’s people. Goliath thought he was going to engage little David, but he was really facing off against the God of Israel, and he very soon lost his head, bring victory to Israel and total defeat to the Philistines. The scenario has been exactly the same right throughout Israel’s history, and it is repeating itself in our time. We can clearly see God’s miraculous intevention as recently as the Six Day War of June 1967. Israel was attacked simultaneously by Egypt, Syria and Jordan. Israel was vastly outnumbered in every way and it must have looked hopeless at the time. The world stood in shock and awe as the attacking armies crumbled and the war was over in SIX days. The Israeli army is good, but it is not that good. The God of Israel moved His mighty hand and Israel’s victory was nothing short of a miracle.
Tiny Israel is surrounded by a sea of 280 million Muslims who are sworn enemies mocking, curising and threatening to destroy her. The God we believe in changes not. He is the same yesterday, today and tomorrow. He has always intervened to destroy Israel’s enemies and we have great confidence and security that He will do the same today. The Bible is full of God’s amazing promises for Israel. Here are just a few of them ……………
Jeremiah 31:35-36 Thus says the LORD, who gives the sun for a light by day, the ordinances of the moon and the stars for a light by night, who disturbs the sea, and its waves roar (The LORD of hosts is His name): “If those ordinances depart from before Me, says the LORD, then the seed of Israel shall also cease from being a nation before Me forever.” (NKJ)
Psalm 20:6 Now I know that the LORD saves His anointed; he will answer him from His holy heaven with the saving strength of His right hand.
Psalm 2:1-6 Why do the nations rage, and the people plot a vain thing? The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together, against the LORD and against His Anointed, saying, “Let us break Their bonds in pieces and cast away Their cords from us.” He who sits in the heavens shall laugh; the LORD shall hold them in derision. Then He shall speak to them in His wrath, and distress them in His deep displeasure: “Yet I have set My King on My holy hill of Zion.” (NKJ)
Psalm 33:10-11 The LORD brings the counsel of the nations to nothing; he makes the plans of the peoples of no effect. The counsel of the LORD stands forever, the plans of His heart to all generations. (NKJ)

Psalm 18:13-14 The LORD also thundered from heaven, and the Most High uttered His voice, hailstones and coals of fire. He sent out His arrows and scattered the foe, lightnings in abundance, and He vanquished them. (NKJ)
Zechariah 9:15-16 The LORD of hosts will defend them; they shall devour and subdue with slingstones. They shall drink and roar as if with wine; they shall be filled with blood like basins, like the corners of the altar. The LORD their God will save them in that day, as the flock of His people. For they shall be like the jewels of a crown, lifted like a banner over His land– (NKJ)
Ps 129:5-6 Let all those who hate Zion be put to shame and turned back. Let them be as the grass on the housetops, which withers before it grows up, NKJ
Isaiah 60:12 For the nation and kingdom which will not serve you shall perish, and those nations shall be utterly ruined. (NKJ)
One last thought to encourage all of us who have a blood covenant relationship with Israel’s God. Whether we are ‘natural branches’ or ‘grafted-in branches’
(Rom 11:17) we are all fellow citizens (Eph 2:19) – in God’s eyses we are ALL Israel and every promise of protection, provision, salvation and victory belong to every one of us. As much as natural Israel can and should expect God to keep His covenant promises, we should do the same. He is the Lord our God and He changes not, and His promises are YES and AMEN. The victory is ours, but the battle belongs to the LORD.
The Lord bless you as you bless Israel by standing in defense of her right to exist on the land given to the Jewish people by the God of Israel. Lets pray that Israel will turn back to their God. Do not be silent at this most strategic time, but share this with your fellow Christians, share it with your pastors, and with anyone you have a chance to speak to. Lets also pray for breakthrough to the Muslims, and please remember to pray for all of the soldiers in the IDF – they are defending and fighting for the soon coming Kingdom of God.

1. PM Netanyahu Slams President Obama Over Iran Israel Today News Sept 2nd
Israel was abuzz over the weekend with news that a recent meeting between Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu and US Ambassador Daniel Shapiro became heated after the Israeli leader criticized US President Barack Obama for not doing enough to thwart Iran’s nuclear program. The Netanyahu-Shapiro meeting took place behind closed doors two weeks ago. Last Friday, Israeli newspaper Yediot Ahronot cited unnamed sources present at the meeting as saying “sparks and lightning were flying” when the two men discussed the Iran situation. According to the sources, Netanyahu openly blasted what he called Obama’s ineffectual policies vis-a-vis Iran’s nuclear program, which Israel views as an existential threat considering the Iranian leadership’s very public declarations that it wishes to annihilate the Jewish state.
Netanyahu and many other Israeli leaders have been vocal in their criticism of Obama and the entire international community for punishing Iran with little more than words while the Islamic Republic has continued its defiant nuclear program with only minor hindrance. Netanyahu reportedly told Shapiro that instead of worrying about whether or not Israel will strike Iran, Obama should focus on the root of the problem and put some real pressure on Tehran. At that point, Shapiro was said to have broken diplomatic protocol and snapped back at Netanyahu, insisting that the Israeli leader was misrepresenting Obama’s position. Shapiro then reiterated Obama’s promise to not allow Iran to attain nuclear weapons, to which Netanyahu responded, “Time is running out.”

2. Israel May Have to Deal With Iran on her Own
US Joint Chiefs of Staff chairman General Martin Dempsey went to London last week to deliver a warning to the Israelis and an encouragement to Iran, telling the Israelis that the United States would “not be complicit” in an Israeli attack and telling the Iranians that Israel doesn’t have the muscle to stop its nuclear program. “Distancing himself from any Israeli plan to bomb Iran, Dempsey said such an attack would “clearly delay but probably not destroy Iran’s nuclear programme”. He added: “I don’t want to be complicit if they [Israel] choose to do it.” That comment sent a shockwave through the Israeli establishment, but it was the rest of Dempsey’s remarks that pretty much confirmed that as far as the Obama administration is concerned, Israel is on its own. “Dempsey said he did not know Iran’s nuclear intentions, as intelligence did not reveal intentions. What was clear, he said, was that the “international coalition” applying pressure on Iran “could be undone if [Iran] was attacked prematurely”. Sanctions against Iran were having an effect, and they should be given a reasonable opportunity to succeed.” Please pray that other nations will come to Israel’s side in the event of a conflict with Iran
3. Obama Likely to Make Netanyahu Pay If He Wins Election Ynet News Sept 2nd
Israeli cabinet ministers who spoke to Ynet, said they believe Obama will make Netanyahu pay if the former is reelected as America’s president in November. At present, Obama cannot risk being seen as creating a rift between America and Israel, lest he lose the votes of most Jews and many Christians. But after the election, Obama will have no such constraints. “The US elections are in two months, and there is no doubt that President Barack Obama, if he is reelected, will make Netanyahu pay for his behavior. It will not pass quietly,” one minister told Ynet. Already there are indications that Obama is taking a more hostile position toward Israel. For instance, next month Israel and the US were scheduled to hold their largest ever joint military exercise, which was to be largely focused on confronting a major ballistic missile threat (read: Iran). But over the weekend, the Pentagon suddenly and significantly downsized American participation in the exercise. “Relations between Israel and the US have soured” as a result of differing views on the urgency of the Iran situation, concluded another cabinet minister. Lets pray that God’s will be done in the upcoming US elections
4. “Palestinian” Worker Admits Poisoning Jewish Family Israel Today News Sept 2nd
A Palestinian Arab man recently admitted to poisoning a Jewish family with intent to kill simply because he “hates Jews.” Israeli courts on Sunday cleared for publication details of the attack, which occurred last October in the central Israel town of Raanana. The suspect, 46-year-old Adnan Nasaara, was a construction worker who had previously done some work at the victims’ house. The Lerner family initially thought they were the victims of a simple robbery, and called police to the scene. But during the post-break-in interview, Eyal Lerner and one of the police officers collapsed after drinking water from the kitchen.
Eyal’s wife, Yifat, and their 2 year old child also became ill. All 4 were hospitalized, with Eyal spending a week in intensive care in serious condition. Police later found that most of the drinks and staple food items in the Lerner’s kitchen had been laced with highly toxic pesticides. Officers later traced the robbery to Nasaara and two other suspects. They found pesticides in Nasaara’s house. Police told Israel’s Ynet news portal that Nasaara admitted to the poisoning, saying he did it because he “hates Jews.” Officials are now describing the incident at nationalistically motivated, or, in other words, a terrorist attack.
The attack again brings to light two important aspects of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. First, Israel is constantly criticized for restricting the freedom of movement in Judea and Samaria (the so-called “West Bank”), and especially for denying Palestinians easy access to Israeli-controlled areas. But most of those restrictions are new, having only been implemented over the past decade due to rising Palestinian violence. The poisoning of the Lerner family demonstrates why Israel is so careful with access to Jewish areas. Second, it has become increasingly important to limit access because the Palestinian Authority has so utterly failed to educate its population to view the Jews as neighbors and partners. In fact, it has done the opposite, and many Palestinians today, like Mr. Nasaara, view it as a national and even a religious duty to take the lives of Jews, be they men, women or children.

5. Six Killed in Gaza Border Clashes ICEJ News Sept 6th
The border between Israel and the Hamas ruled Gaza Strip erupted overnight Wednesday, with the IDF repelling two attempted attacks and killing six Palestinian gunman, according to medical sources in the Strip. The first incident involved the IAF attacking a rocket squad Wednesday night as it was about to fire its weapons into Israel from the central Gaza Strip. Several hours later, IDF ground troops struck a terror cell as it attempted to plant an explosive device on the Gaza border. The IDF Spokesman’s Office stated that “the IDF will not tolerate any attempt to harm Israeli civilians, and will operate against anyone who uses terror against the State of Israel. The Hamas terror organization is solely responsible for any terrorist activity emanating from the Gaza Strip.
Please pray that all terrorsts and potential terrorsits be stopped before they can take innocent lives
6. Egypt Replacing Tanks with Armored Vehicles in Sinai ICEJ News Sept 5th
A security source confirmed on Tuesday that the Egyptian army has withdrawn at least 20 tanks from the Sinai Peninsula in response to Israeli protests that their participation in anti-terrorism operations violated the 1979 Camp David peace agreement. The source also said that light armored vehicles are being deployed in place of the tanks, but did not specify if all the deployed tanks had been withdrawn. “The operation is entering a new phase that requires different equipment capable of facing and handling the situation in Sinai,” a military official told Reuters on Tuesday. Please pray that Israel will be aware of any planned attacked coming from the Sinai
7. Israeli Minister of Defence: Attack on Iran May Not be Necessary Ha Aretz News Sept 7th
Defense Minister Ehud Barak hinted Thursday that there may be no need for anIsraeli strike on Iran, due to the unprecedented concentration of U.S. forces in the Persian Gulf. Barak spoke after meeting with Admiral James Winnefeld, Vice Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, who is visiting Israel. “Israel retains its right to make sovereign decisions and the United States respects that,” Barak said at an Atzmaut party gathering. “However, one should not ignore the impressive preparations by the Americans to counter Iran on all fronts.” Barak made the comments after he and Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu were briefed by U.S. Secretary of Defense Leon Panetta and National Security Advisor Tom Donilon regarding U.S. preparations for a possible confrontation with Iran. Please pray that this is indeed the case and that a war with Iran can be averted

Egypt and Gulf States strengthen ties.

Egypt is becoming more independent from the United States. “The Muslim Brotherhood’s election platform called for a reworked relationship with Washington based on ‘independence of decision’ and an end to ‘subordination'” (CNS News, August 22, 2012).
Recently, Egyptian president Mohammed Morsi visited China, Iran and Saudi Arabia in an attempt to strengthen Egypt’s foreign ties. Mr. Morsi has also chosen to strengthen Egyptian ties with the Gulf States. “Cairo and the Arab Gulf states are currently taking steps towards each other, and for many it’s a sign of a new beginning” (Deutsche Welle, August 25, 2012). Egypt needs economic and monetary support from the Gulf States and is seeking to gain this by assuring that the revolution in Egypt will not spread throughout the region (ibid.).
Egypt’s role in the Middle East is crucial, “The credo of Arab politicians has long been that only a politically and economically strong Egypt can also strengthen the Arab World.” Qatar has already offered more than $2 billion to Egypt, and Saudi Arabia has promised $2.7 billion (ibid.).
The prophet Daniel was inspired to write that at the “time of the end,” a powerful King of the South will attack the European King of the North,only to be defeated by that same power (Daniel 11:40-43). Egypt figures prominently in end-time Bible prophecy, as does a confederacy of Middle Eastern nations. It is important to continue watching this dynamic region as God’s prophecies are fulfilled.

Powerful new evidence supports male circumcision.
Considerable research supporting male circumcision has surfaced over the last decade. As a result, The American Academy of Pediatrics just reversed its 13-year stance. A five-year review of more than 1,000 circumcision studies resulted in the Academy’s conclusion: “Systematic evaluation of English-language peer-reviewed literature from 1995 through 2010 indicates that preventive health benefits of elective circumcision of male newborns outweigh the risks of the procedure. Benefits include significant reductions in the risk of urinary tract infection in the first year of life and, subsequently, in the risk of heterosexual acquisition of HIV and the transmission of other sexually transmitted infections” (Pediatrics, September 2012, Vol. 130, No. 3). The Academy also recommends insurers begin covering the procedure (ibid.).
While the scientific evidence overwhelmingly supports the procedure, there are still many opponents. A court in Cologne, Germany, recently ruled that infant male circumcision opposes “the fundamental right of the child to bodily integrity” (CBS News, August 27, 2012).
Roughly 4,000 years ago God commanded Abraham to be circumcised (Genesis 17:11-13) and continued this command with the Israelites (Leviticus 12:3). By giving these commands, God was ultimately protecting baby boys (and their future wives), and instituting a practice that would keep them healthier than their enemies–and even blessing their descendants (Deuteronomy 7:12-15). Science is simply “uncovering” the powerful physical reasons why God gave this loving command so long ago!

Imperial County, California, experienced many tremors ranging from 2.0 to 5.5 in magnitude. “By 5 p.m., the USGS had recorded about 300 earthquakes, and the count continued to rise throughout the evening” (LA Times, August 26, 2012). Although earthquakes are common in the region, so many at one time is unusual. The following day, El Salvador experienced a 7.4 magnitude earthquake triggering a small tsunami. No casualties were reported (Associated Press, August 27, 2012).
In August alone there have been 11 earthquakes with a strong magnitude rating of 6.0 or higher. The varied locations of these quakes include: Alaska, Peru, El Salvador, Iran, Russia, Papua New Guinea, Indonesia, and China (US Geological Survey).
Jesus Christ stated that in the end times, “there will be great earthquakes in various places” (Luke 21:11). As earthquakes continue to occur in different regions, King David’s words can give comfort: “God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Therefore we will not fear, even though the earth be removed, and though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea; though its waters roar and be troubled, though the mountains shake with its swelling” (Psalm 46:1-3).

I felt the annointing when I read your message – I believe that God is trying to wake the nations but they are with deaf ears. That is why the Word said “let those with ears hear what God is saying” proving that the nations and people will be unable to hear – only those chosen by God to hear. Hence it is all the more important for us to keep our trust and faith in the Living God and pray for Jerusalem for that is where the King is going to return. The nations will wake up but it will be at such a time when they are thinking they are at peace and nothing to disturb them, that is when the King will arrive, with a Shout and with claps of thunger and the great day will arrive and people will be terrified, they have an opportunity to seek his face, however it is only we that are being prepared for this will have our eyes opened. We need to warn the people that these things are coming to pass because of the nations – people have turned their back on God and seeking their own ways – which lead to destruction.
The more I read of the Word and God the more secure I feel in him. Learning to live His way – brings peace to your soul and mind, knowing that God is in control and nothing can shake us when we place our trust into him.
We know that Isreal will be saved because God ordained it. – God does not want anyone to be lost – but there are those that have been earmaked already for destruction – just as there those that have been earmaked for salvation.
Trust God and keep His word ever before you.
I fully agree with what Judy and Tomas have written, and I pray that their next quest at the UN will bear some fruit, although I have my doubts. Even the nation of which I am an expatriate, is constantly barking at the heels of Israel, with one having the same first name as me leading the pack and thinking he is doing the work of our God YHVH. And the country is sliding into deeper poverty and anarchy, 20 years after ANC and communists taking over and hoping to do a better job than the previous government. Any thoughts on the new hurricane over Louisiana, 7 years to the day when the previous storm hit New Orleans! And Mr Gore will have something to say about “global warming”. I rather think it is another kind of warming. It is called getting hot under the collar, and I think our God is getting more and more angry as the nations abandon His Word and ban it in schools and court rooms.
Pray that you may not be found wanting in that fateful day that is coming, not too far off.

Keep Jerusalem United Please pray for the nations as they are entering “the Valley of Decision” at the UN from 25th September-1st October Facts. The United Nations will have its Annual Debate of the General Assembly from September 25 – October 1, when all 193 member states will gather in New York to be faced with a unilateral declaration of a Palestinian state. In the next few months your nation will have to decide if it will accept the creation of a new Islamic state in the Middle East with the Old City of Jerusalem (East Jerusalem) as its capital. Biblical context. The Bible speaks of a point in time when “all the nations” will gather against Jerusalem and when the Lord will intervene and judge the nations. (Joel 3:1-3) The judgment will come because they – the nations have divided up His land (Israel) and dispersed His people (The Jews). Furthermore, the New Testament (Matthew 25: 31-46) speaks of a coming judgment of the nations, based on how they have treated “these least of my brothers”. We are now entering a time when the world community is trying to divide Jerusalem and disperse those Jews who are living in the biblical heartland of Israel. The Choice. The nations will have a vote in the UN. Will they choose to become “Goat” or “Sheep” nations? Will they care for the Jewish people? Will they gather against Jerusalem or align themselves with God’s plans and purposes for world peace? We can read about this in Isaiah 2. This is a vision of world peace, which is universally accepted. The scripture is written on a monument right across from the UN in New York. This is the time when “Nation will not take up sword against nation nor will they train for war any more. “ This is the Peace of Jerusalem that we are praying for and that we are asking the nations to prepare for. It can, according to the text, only come about when the Lord God of Israel reigns in Jerusalem. We believe that “all nations” gathering against Israel could mean the international community as a whole or even the “United Nations”, but we do not believe that each and every nation will have to join. They have a choice. This is why Matthew 25:31-46 clearly speaks of a separation of Sheep and Goat nations. This is also why the place where the judgment happens is a “Valley of Decision.” The nations will have to make a decision. Where does your nation stand? We are not implying that “the final judgment” is imminent. It may or may not. What we are saying, is that it is a time for decisions, which according to Scripture, will have direct consequences for the nations. The Call. We are calling upon the worldwide body of Christ to pray for the peace of Jerusalem at a time when there international community would like to divide the city, but also for your own nation as your leaders may soon be entering “the Valley of Decision”, in other words a decisive vote about the future of Jerusalem in the United Nations. This is both a call to prayer and a call to action. Please help circulate our material on the rights of the Jewish people to Jerusalem and the consequences of dividing Jerusalem.
